Purse on the floor
My CT Had her oversized purse open with two different bottles of prescription medicine visible to anyone who looked at the purse. She had it on the floor next to her where she was sitting next to all the kids on the rug. She then left the place she was sitting and went to the other side of the room. The purse was in arms reach o many students sitting on the floor right by it. I was worried but didn't say anything unless the students reached for it.

You might one to talk with her privately and suggest she keep her purse in a cabinet. I've had many teachers keep their purses in cabinets or at least behind their desks; definitely away from students. Somewhere where she can easily access it but here students can't. She might not even realize it's so easily attainable for other students.

I would just talk to her after class. She would be happy that you did.

I completely agree that it would be helpful because she may not understand.

I would not talk to her in front of the students because that might upset her but I would definitely say something to her because that could be a health hazard for the students
