What are doubles?

When we double something, it means to have the same amount again.

Why are we leaing about doubles?

So that is we add the same numbers again, we know how much we have altogether

How do we double numbers?

Doubles are the same numbers added together

Examples:

1+1=2

2+2=4

3+3=6

4+4=8

5+5=10

6+6=12

7+7=14

8+8=16

9+9=18

10+10=20

Notice how every number we added together was the same. We did not add 2+3 together because those numbers do not match each other. Instead, we would add 2+2 or 3+3 together.
